About Us

At Heart of the Horse Therapy Ranch, we believe in the profound healing power of horses. Our mission is to help exceptional Central Valley citizens achieve new heights and discover new abilities through supervised equine-assisted therapeutic riding activities. Heart of the Horse Therapy Ranch is committed to promoting therapeutic riding as an enjoyable and effective experience by developing community awareness of equine assisted/facilitated therapy for those with a disability.

Through therapeutic riding and equine-facilitated activities, we serve a diverse community, including individuals with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injuries, sensory impairments, Down syndrome, autism, veterans with PTSD, and more. While not every disability allows for traditional riding, our programs are tailored to provide meaningful engagement and healing experiences for all.

We are committed to raising awareness of equine-assisted therapy as an evidence-based treatment, fostering inclusion, and creating opportunities for individuals to experience newfound freedom, strength, and connection—one ride at a time.
